Miami returns nine play- ers, including four who started all three games in the ACC Tournament, in addition to the ACC’s three-point UMIAMI field goal percentage leader. Haith and the Hurricanes are striving for their third 20-win season in four years and their fifth postseason appearance in seven years. 31 STAFF Coach Haith and his tireless staff returns to the hardwood in 2010-11 determined to develop outstanding young men, both on and off the court. In addition to building the program, Haith and the Hurricanes have had 21 players graduate since 2005. 43 HURRICANES Veteran Hurricane Adrian Thomas leads the Miami campaign in 2010- 11. With one year of Miami hoops together under their belts, look for Durand Scott, Reggie Johnson and Malcolm Grant to continue to make waves for the ‘Canes. Kraft, who was honored for a league-high third time this season as WCHA Offensive Player of the Week, helped Minnesota stake a claim to the title with a 4-3 win on Friday followed by a 7-3 win Saturday. It marks the 1Oth time overall in 1996-97 that a Golden Gopher hockey student­ athlete has been cited for league player of the week honors. Kraft, from Moorhead. Minn., scored five goals last weekend including a third-period hat trick as part of a six-goal frame in Saturday's title-clinching win. Kraft's six-point weekend brings his season totals to 24-18--42 on the season. He has totals of 10-7--17 in the team's last six home games, and finished fifth in the league in scoring. Kraft's final goal Saturday gives him 50 career goals and 125 career points in 121 games at the U of M, and the hat trick Saturday was the fourth of his career. Two of Kraft's career hat tricks have come agrunst the University of Alaska-Anchorage Seawolves, this weekend's WCHA First Round playoff opponent at Mariucci Arena.

THOMPSON SIGNS FIRST PRO CONTRACT IN THE NETHERLANDS BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Former WKU Basketball guard Darius Thompson has inked his first professional contract, signing with Zorg en Zekerheid Basketball Leiden in the Netherlands. ZZ Leiden competes in the Dutch Basketball League. The team has won the national championship three times, the NBB Cup twice and the Dutch Basketball Supercup twice. Thompson, a 6-foot-4 guard from Murfreesboro, Tenn., joined the Hilltoppers for the 2017-18 season as a graduate transfer from Virginia. He left his mark on the program in just one year, starting all 38 games, averaging 35.6 minutes per contest and earning a spot on the All-Conference USA Second Team. Thompson averaged 13.6 points, 4.8 assists and 4.2 rebounds for WKU, while netting a team- high 54 made 3-pointers.
