11 Prospective students should call Central Intake at 440-260-8300 to request an application for Masters Level counseling Internships. (Dr. Britton also has copies of the applications). As part of the application process, the student is required to choose his/her preference of two tracts:

1. Community Mental Health: Interns will provide mental health, child welfare and/or juvenile justice services to children and adolescents in their home or school settings. The goal of these services is to positively impact client's mental health symptoms and increase his/her family support. Services are community based and can be offered in an intensive manner. Afternoon and evening availability is required. Maybe at Berea or Downtown offices.

2. Outpatient Mental Health: Interns will provide mental health counseling services to children, adolescents and adults in an outpatient office setting. Afternoon and evening availability is required. Work will take place mainly at the Berea office.

Also, there are several prac/internship slots available in the Residential Treatment Facility. This site located at Berea Children’s Home in Berea and is a Partial Hospitalization group program (PHP).
