This Order is made by Dorset County Council under section 53(2)(b) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 ("the Act") because it appears to that authority that the County of Dorset Definitive Map and Statement require modification in consequence of the occurrence of an event specified in section 53(3)(c)(ii) namely, that a highway shown in the map and statement as a highway of a particular description ought to be there shown as a highway of a different description and section 53(3)(c)(iii) namely that any other particulars contained in the map and statement require modification.

The authority have consulted with every local authority whose area includes the land to which ]I the order relates. The Dorset County Council hereby order that:

1. For the purposes of this order the relevant date is 8 October 2014.

2. The County of Dorset Definitive Map and Statement shall be modified as described in Part I and Part II of the Schedule and shown on the map attached to the Order.

3. This order shall take effect on the date it is confirmed and may be cited as the "Dorset County Council (Bridleway 3, Long Bredy and Bridleways 44 & 45, Kingston Russell to be Upgraded to Restricted Byway) Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order ] 2014".

A-B-C From its junction with the A35 road, east of Long Barrow Farm at point A (SY -O-E 58349101), south east into a field at point B (SY 58359099), then generally [ south west along the north western side of several fields, fenced on the north western side, to its junction with Bridleway 46 at point C (SY 57929045), then south west, along a track to point 0 (SY 57689009) at the east of Bellamont [ House. Continue south west as a tarmac surfaced path, hedged on both sides, to its junction with Little Bredy Road at point E (SY 575389'85). Width: 4 metres. Limitation: Field gate at point C (SY 57929045). [ Bridleway 45, Kingston Russell [ F-G-H From its junction with Little Bredy Road, west of Whatcombe Cottage at point -I-J-K F (SY 57528984), generally south west along a grass surfaced track, hedged on both sides, to point G (SY 57338954) at the east of Kingston Russell [ House. Continue south west, as a grass and gravel surfaced path with a wall to the western side, along the driveway of Kingston Russell House and continuing west south west to its junction with Footpath 50 at point H (SY ~ [ 57198941). Then south, through a ford at point I (SY 57198940), continuing south along a tarmac surfaced driveway to its junction with Footpath 9 at point J (SY 57178929), then west along a tarmac surfaced road to the parish [ boundary at point K (SY 57128929). The width varies; Between point F (SY 57528984) and G (SY 57338954) 4 metres, narrowing from 4 metres to 3.5 metres at point K (SY 57128929). [

Bridleway 3, Long Bredy

K-L From the Kingston Russell parish boundary, to the west of Lower Kingston Russell Cottages at point K (SY 57128929), west north west along a tarmac [~ surfaced road to its junction with Abbotsbury Lane, west of Long Bredy Farm at point L (SY 56738946). Width 4.5 metres.

Continue south west, as a grass and gravel surfaced path with a wall to the western side, along the driveway of Kingston Russell House and continuing west south west to its junction with Footpath 50 at SY 57198941.
