The Sydney Summer & Winter School In addition to the Study Abroad and Exchange Programs, the University of Sydney offers an intensive high quality Summer and Winter School program, on a full-fee paying basis. This program provides over 174 undergraduate and postgraduate units from a range of faculties and schools. Summer School runs from December with two start dates; December and early January. Most units are taught over a 6 week period, although some are shorter. The Winter School starts in early July and runs for four weeks. As these programs run for less than 3 months, students may attend on a tourist visa.
