OUR MARITIME PROJECTS -Whangaroa Ward

Ngāti Rēhia has approved final concept plans Te Hiku Ward for a new boat ramp and parking area at Rangitane. Far North Holdings Ltd is progressing detailed designs. Work to replace a 50-year-old commercial wharf at Pukenui with a truck-rated wharf will start in June and be completed in October.

The Council and Far North Holdings Ltd are replacing an ageing, timber wharf at Unahi with a truck-rated wharf, concrete pontoon and berth piles.
