High rental charge for cold storages and warehouses 3527 Shri Sambhaji Chhatrapati: Will the Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare be pleased to state: (a) whether Government has made any assessment of high rent charged from farmers at the cold storages and warehouses which majority of farmers are unable to pay in advance at the time of storage; (b) if so, the details thereof; (c) whether the farmers have no option but to sell their produces to middlemen in mandis at throwaway prices because most of them are unable to afford the storage charges; and (d) if so, the mechanism Government proposes to help farmers to store their produces in cold storages/warehouses to get reasonable rates after the market rates get stabilized? 845 Registration under Emblems and Names (Prevention of Improper Use) Act, 1950 3528 Shri Narain Dass Gupta: Will the Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution be pleased to state: (a) the number of entities, Commercial/Non-Commercial and Trading/Non-Trading have been registered under various States with the initial words "NATIONAL", "RASHTRIYA" in the country, the details thereof; (b) whether the all provisions enshrined under the Emblems and Names (Prevention of Improper Use) Act, 12 of 1950 have been complied with in all cases; and (c) the number of registrations of Commercial and Trading or Non-Commercial and Non- Trading entities have been cancelled, the details thereof? National plan for MSP 3529 Shri Vivek K. Tankha: Will the Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare be pleased to state: (a) whether is it a fact that Minimum Support Price (MSP) is a guarantee given by Government to the farmers and the farm laws passed by Parliament make no provision for MSP; and (b) whether Government has a National Plan for the same to protect the life and dignity of 62 crore farmers of the country?
