Despite losing Majda Mehmedovic, who opted to continue her career at CSM Bucuresti, other big names such as Katarina Bulatovic and Cristina Neagu stayed in Podgorica and helped the team to successfully overcome the group matches barrier. They were clear favourites in Group A and took the first place even despite a painful loss in Metz. 17 1st place GROUP 2 Györi Audi ETO KC

Besides one late slip against FC Midtjylland, Györ’s European season has been nothing but perfect, with thorough wins against CSM Bucuresti and Rostov, as two of the most powerful opponents for the Hungarian powerhouse being totally outplayed by Martin Ambros’ side. Heidi Løke’s pregnancy meant that the Hungarian champions had to make a move and in turn signed Tunisian line player Asma Elghaoui for the rest of the season. Nora Mørk has been nothing short of spectacular this season, scoring 65 times, while the Hungarian side is also relying on Anita Görbicz and Eduarda Amorim for goals. They dropped just on point (at home against Larvik) and comfortably entered the quarter-finals as the main round group winners. Surprisingly they lost the first quarter-final leg away at Metz 32:31 only to clinch their third EHF FINAL4 ticket Club Address one week later with a convncing 28:22 win. For the fourth time in a row the European Handball Federation is Right back launching the All-star team vote in the Women’s EHF Champions Nora Mørk (NOR) - Györi Audi ETO KC/HUN League. Besides the fact that for the first time it is presented by Laura van der Heijden (NED) – Team Esbjerg/DEN the European top flight’s long-standing premium sponsor UNIQA, Amanda Kurtovic (NOR) – Larvik/NOR there is one more interesting development. The final selection Katarina Bulatovic (MNE) – Buducnost/MNE announced on the fringes of the TIPPMIX EHF FINAL4 in Budapest Ana Gros (SLO) - Metz Handball/FRA (6/7 May 2017) will not only consist of a fan vote, but also of media professionals covering handball and an expert panel. The Right wing vote will run until mindnight on Tuesday 2 May. Below you find the Linn-Kristin Riegelhuth Koren (NOR) – Larvik/NOR link to join the media vote: Carmen Martin (ESP) – CSM Bucuresti/ROU Jovanka Radicevic (MNE) – HC Vardar/MKD Aneta Benko (CRO) – RK Krim Mercator/SLO http://www.icy.at/ehf/CL_AllStarTeam2017Wmedia Luciano Jurswailly (NED) – Metz Handball/FRA It is necessary to underline that our plan is to keep the journalists’ vote strictly for the media professionals and therefore we ask you Best defender NOT to share the link with fans, clubs or anyone outside of the Kinga Achruk (POL) – Buducnost/MNE media family.
