The Property

Clump Farm Barn is two thirds of a magnificent flint and brick Hampshire barn which was converted for the present owner who has a real eye for detail and quality. The barn is fitted with high performance double glazed German windows under a slate roof. The interior is extremely contemporary and European in its design and feel but using high quality materials which have really lasted the test of time. Throughout the ground floor are beautiful slate floors with underfloor heating and on the first and second floors, oak has been used throughout. The accommodation extends to just over 4000 sq ft. The front door opens into a part vaulted reception hall and across one end behind a glazed screen is a feature wine cellar. Within the hall there is a cloakroom, off to the eastern side a beautifully proportioned drawing room which has an open fireplace and two pairs of French doors opening out on to the terrace. On the western side of the hall is an absolutely magnificent kitchen/dining room, superbly fitted with German Bulthaup units, again this room has three pairs of French doors and there is a door through to a well fitted utility room. From the galleried landing on the first floor lies the principal suite which comprises a dressing room, luxuriously appointed bathroom, the main bedroom and a walk in wardrobe cupboard which runs the full width of the room above the utility room on the ground floor. There are three further bedrooms, a second family bathroom, and a sauna which also has a shower. On the second floor, again this has a galleried landing, there are two further bedrooms, one of which has an adjoining shower room

Outside

The barn is approached through solid automatic opening gates and a brick paviour driveway leads up to a pair of double garages. One is currently used as a home office with a games/playroom over. To the front of the garaging is ample parking and turning space.

The Gardens and Grounds

Beautiful landscaped gardens surround the barn. At the front there is a very private sheltered and warm terrace. The main gardens lie behind the barn and there is a large terrace with a serpentine wall which partially encloses an above ground swimming pool. There are sweeping expanses of lawn, well planted shrub borders and trees. The gardens extend to about an acre and overlook beautiful open countryside.
