With funding allocated from the Marfleet Ward Budget, Marfleet Councillors, the Park Area Team and volunteers cleared, dug, planted shrubs and plants and painted the benches to give the gardens a much needed make over and make it a fitting memorial to those who lost their lives in the world wars. The final piece of work will be carried out shortly completing the transformation.
