As per the EIA Notification 2006, all the building construction projects/Area Development projects and Township Projects comes under schedule 8 and projects covering an area ≥ 50 ha and/or built up area ≥1,50,000 sq .mtrs they come under schedule 8 (b). All projects under Item 8(b) shall be appraised as Category B1. The application for environmental clearance shall comprise submission of Form 1, Form 1A, and Conceptual Plan along with EIA/EMP Report incorporated proposed ToR in SEIAA/MoEF. The EIA/EMP shall be prepared on the basis of Approved ToR issued from SEAC/EAC and will be submitted to the SEAC/EAC for appraisal and due recommendation and suggestions. Following the appraisal of the project to the satisfaction of the SEAC/EAC and SEIAA, Environmental Clearance shall be granted. Total Built up area of the proposed site is 4, 21,885.56 m2. Thus it is required for the project proponent to obtain environmental clearance under EIA Notification, 2006 and its amendments from SEIAA/MoEF. Others approval required for the project will be Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981. As per the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981, project proponent should obtain consent prior establishment and prior operation from respective state pollution control board. Other acts & rules applicable to the project includes following. Consent to Operate (CTO) for activities causing air pollution from SPCB Compliance to National Ambient Air Quality Standard Water (Prevention and Control of Protection of Water Quality Pollution) Act, 1974 with Rules. Establish for establishing and Consent to Operate for activities causing water pollution from SPCB and for the discharge of effluents Water Cess Act, 1977, Amended 2003 Paying Water Cess to Pollution Control Board for consumption of water Noise Pollution (Regulation and Compliance with Ambient Noise and emission Control) Rules, 2000, Amended 2010 Standards in accordance to use classification for the area Hazardous and Other Waste Obtaining Authorization from SPCB for handling and storing of hazardous waste like (Management and Transboundary waste oil and lubricants Movement Rules, 2016) Following guidelines for handling and storing of such hazardous waste Wildlife Protection Act, 1972, amended Lays down rules and regulations pertaining to 2010 Wildlife Sanctuaries, National Parks.
