MESSAGE OF POPE FRANCIS - WORLD MISSION DAY 2017 DAILY MASS READINGS

Once again this year, World Mission Day gathers us around the person of Monday: Romans 4:20-25; Luke 12:13-21

Jesus, “the very first and greatest evangelizer” (Paul VI, Evangelii Nuntiandi , 7), Tuesday: Romans 5:12,15b,17-19,20b-21; who continually sends us forth to proclaim the Gospel of the love of God the Luke 12:35-38

Father in the power of the Holy Spirit. This Day invites us to reflect anew on Wednesday: Romans 6:12-18; Luke 12:39-48 the mission at the heart of the Christian faith. The Church is missionary by Thursday: Romans 6:19-23; Luke 12:49-53 nature; otherwise, she would no longer be the Church of Christ, but one group A b Friday: Romans 7:18-25a; Luke 12:54-59 among many others that soon end up serving their purpose and passing away. So it is important to ask ourselves certain questions about our Christian Saturday: Saints Simon and Jude, Apostles (Feast) Ephesians 2:19-22; Luke 6:12-16 identity and our responsibility as believers …. What is the basis of our mission? What is the heart of our mission? What are the essential Sunday: Exodus 22:20-26; Matthew 22:34-40 approaches we need to carry out our mission? This Week’s Program Schedule 1. The Church’s mission, directed to all men and women of good will, is based on the transformative power of the Gospel.
