The College offers 3-years Honours and General under Graduate (Bachelor) courses in Humanities (Arts) & science under the affiliation of the Vidyasagar University. The above stream will be abbreviated as B.A (Bachelor of Arts) & B.Sc.(Bachelor of Science ) B.Sc.(Hons. & General)

1. Application for admission in B.A. courses in the session 2016-2017 shall be online only (http://narajolerajcollege.org.in) on 21-05-2016.

Note: No printed application from will be issued from the college. Application will be considered only upon payment of the requisite Application Fees (Rs.100/-). Payments can be made with the Bank Challan through BANGIYA GRAMIN VIKASH BANK (BGVB).Cash payments with Bank Challans may be received by BANGIYA GRAMIN VIKASH BANK (BGVB) in the Branches below. The Requisite application fee is including Bank charge for their service.

2. The college shall maintain a helpline/helpdesk for the students during normal office hours on all working days. 3. A candidate may apply for one or more than one subject that she/he is eligible for and the application fees would be separately deposited by Bank Challan for each application. 4. Any wrong data given may lead to cancellation of the candidature. It is within the sole discretion of the college authority to reject any application. 5. Candidates have to down load Bank Challan after filling the application form. Candidates should take candidate copy and college copy of bank Challan from bank. Bank should given a Challan no on each part. Candidates have to take print the application form after putting bank Challan no. They have to put signature on it. The signed copy of the printed Application form along with i) Self attested copy mark sheet of the last qualifying examination (e.g. Higher secondary Examination ii) Self attested copy of caste certificate, iii) Self attested copy of the admit of the Madhyamik or equivalent board stating the age of the candidate, iv) Original bank challan (College copy) showing the bank’s endorsement, v) Self attested copy of registration certificate of the Higher Secondary or Equivalent board. vi) PWD certificate. should be submitted to college within 31/05/2016 by hand. The candidate has to use separate envelope for each application. Please follow the chart under “How to apply’.

6. As this college is affiliated to Vidyasagar University, the college is liable to follow it guidelines on examinations, admission, registration and the students have to follow those guidelines strictly. 7. College shall not be liable for admission/ranking in the Merit List in case candidate’s previous 10+2 board is not approved by the Vidyasagar University. 8. In case of Board/ Council other than W.B.C.H.S.E, A candidate shall have to pass in five [four, where applicable] recognized subjects of full marks not being less than 100 each of which one shall be English. For them the merit point will be calculated converting their % of marks into 500. 9. Marks obtained in top five subjects shall be considered to ascertain the aggregate marks of a candidate passing the examination under grade system. 10. Marks obtained in Environmental Education as compulsory subject at the H.S.(10+2) Examination conducted by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary education or equivalents shall not be taken into account for calculation of the aggregate marks in top five subjects for the purpose of admission 11. Explanation: An applicant passed HS (10+2) level in the year 2014/2015/2016 is eligible to apply for BA/B Sc Courses in this college.

12. The candidates qualify the vocational courses can apply general degree courses only 13. Science Students can fill up form in Bengali/English (Hons) Only.

3. The admission in the Honours Course will be made on the basis of Counseling. Merit list and Admission

1. A provisional merit list would be published on the date mentioned under ‘Important Dates’. Students having any objection have to communicate their respective grievances within 24 hours of the publication of the Provisional Merit List. 2. Along with the final Merit Lists, date of counseling would also be published. On the date and time of the counseling students have to be present in the college campus with all necessary documents in original, requisite fees, original copy of the bank challan ( students copy), two copy of recent passport size photo. Desirous students may be accompanied by one of their parents or a local guardian.

All these rules mentioned above may be changed if the higher direct any change. In case the online admission system fails, the authority has the right to state off-line admission procedure.
