Tie Break Tens - Stan signs up to stunning line-up in Mutua Charity

The reigning US Open champion has joined the growing list of star-names that will compete for the title at the Mutua Charity Tie Break Tens Madrid event on Thursday 4th May.

Wawrinka will take on World No. 4 , the 2013 Roland Garros finalist , Feliciano Lopez, the 2011 semi finalist and - the 23-year-old Frenchman who beat at the US Open last year. There are still two more players to be announced in the men’s field.

'This is going to be a really exciting night of with some great players and a format that will create of lot of pressure moments,” said Wawrinka. “There is nothing in the sport like the feeling of a tie-break - both to play and to watch - and so I am very much looking forward to Tie Break Tens in Madrid.'

A women’s event will run alongside the men’s event, with champion Garbine Muguruza, former World No.1 , Olympic gold-medalist and World No.5 in action.

The tournament will feature a knock-out format of quarterfinals, semifinals and final, with each match taking the form of a first-to-ten point tie-break.

Each event will award a winner-take-all prize of $200,000, with an additional $100,000 going to the Mutua charity against domestic violence.

The tournament, which will be held in the Caja Mágica, will be Broadcast live on Teledeporte TVE in .
