And we hear the church Yes, from our heart, bells ring. He’s the symbol of love. We plan to visit old friends, And all our relatives, too, taking some gift and cookies and sharing our joy anew. With Santa Claus and presents And a decorated tree, We’re ready for the season As excited as can be. All these things are wonderful But the very best by far, Is the birth of one Baby Under a Bethlehem star. That baby was Christ Jesus Who came in a humble way, And lay on a manger bed That very first Christmas Day.
