The Sidewinders, formed by Rich Hopkins and David Slutes in 1985, released their first full length album Cuacha! in 1988 on San Jacinto
Records. From Tucson, Arizona they quickly gained national recognition with this release. They signed with Jay Faires' Mammoth Records who released their second album,
WITCHDOCTOR in November of 1988. They got a deal with RCA and Witchdoctor was rereleased in 1989. From there they toured nationally with
Charlie Sexton, Drivin’ n’ Cryin’, & The TRACK LISTING: Replacements. SIDE 1 1. I Can Wait 2. Clock Strikes Twelve In 1990 they released their third album on RCA 3. Bell Jar Auntie Ramos Pool Hall.
