Date of Report:' September 17, 1974 B. 1. Background: As contemplated in the Loan Agreement this loan was made to the Government of Honduras (Borrower) to carry out certain feasibility studies of high priority in the economic and social develop ment of Honduras. 2. Scope of the Project: The Superior Council for Eco nomic Planning (CONSUPLAN), the agency of the Borrower responsible for the execution of the project, decided to undertake, under this loan, the feasibility study and preliminary engineering for the Central Highway extending from Tegucigalpa to Yoro and from Sta. Rita through Yoro to Olanchito. The total length of the project was estimated about 368 kms. A U.S. consult ing firm, Transportation Consultants International, Co. (TCICO), was selected by the Government, and approved -2 by A.I.D., to make the study. The contract was sign ed on September 13, 1967. C. Project Execution: In agreement with the Consultant, CONSUPLAN decided that the preliminary engineering part of the study would be undertaken by making use of photogram metry and electrical surveying instruments, rather than by conventional ground survey methods. With this purpose, flights were made at an appropriate altitude to provide photographs atAscale of approximately 1: 10,000 covering a strip approximately 2.3 kilometers in width. All angu lar measurements, both horizontal and vertical, were made with Wild T-2 theodolites. Slope distance measurements were made by using Tellurometers ind DM-20 Electrotapes. -

However, a combined negative factor, including, among others, climate crisis, the incidence of diseases and pests, and poor land-use planning, have led to a decline in coffee yields, impacting on the family economy. Therefore, this research assesses land suitability for coffee production (Coffea arabica) in Amazonas region, in order to support the development of sustainable agriculture. For this purpose, a hierarchical structure was developed based on six climatological sub-criteria, five edaphological sub-criteria, three physiographical sub-criteria, four socio-economic sub-criteria, and three restrictions (coffee diseases and pests). -

DECLARATION OF CLAUDIA HERRMANNSDORFER ACOSTA AND REGINA FONSECA DISCUA, EXPERTS ON VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN IN HONDURAS I, Claudia Herrmannsdorfer Acosta hereby declare: Experience and Expertise I, Claudia Herrmannsdorfer Acosta, am a Honduran attorney and women’s rights expert. I have a law degree from the National Autonomous University in Honduras (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras) and twenty-three years of experience working on issues of women’s rights, with a focus on violence against women. I am currently the founder and coordinator of the law firm Legal Team for Human Rights, with headquarters in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. The firm promotes legal analysis and strategic litigation related to issues of human rights, with an emphasis on women’s rights, sexual and reproductive rights, and rights of LGBTTI people and indigenous groups. I also serve on the board of directors for the Center for Women’s Rights (Centro de Derechos de Mujeres), a non-profit women’s rights organization in Honduras. I have extensive experience in legal representation of women who are victims of violence and have played a central role in the development of legislation regarding women’s rights and violence against women in Honduras. I participate in intergovernmental and academic forums and have published multiple reports on violence against women in Honduras. Education and Professional Background 1. I graduated in 1982 with a law degree from the most prestigious university in Honduras, the National Autonomous University of Honduras. From 1992 to 1999, I practiced law full time in the Honduran courts as a member of the law firm Acosta Bonilla and Associates. -

2021 Jubilee - Celebrating 75 First Profession−8/11/1946 Sister Mary Niva Langreck, SSND Sister Mary Niva was born in Neillsville, Wisconsin, and in 1945, began her ministry teaching at St. Leo, Milwaukee. She made first profession in Milwaukee in 1946, and that same year, began teaching at St. Aloysius, West Allis, Wisconsin, where she remained for 12 years. During this time, she earned a bachelor’s degree in social science from Mount Mary College (now University), Milwaukee. In 1958, Sister Mary Niva went to Notre Dame, Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, where she taught and served as administrator until 1971. While teaching at Notre Dame, she received a master’s degree in education from Marquette University, Milwaukee. During the 1970s and 1980s, Sister Mary Niva remained in Wisconsin, serving as administrator at St. John Nepomucene, Prairie du Chien; teaching and serving in pastoral ministry at St. John the Baptist, Marshfield; serving on the community institution staff at Notre Dame House, Milwaukee; and teaching at Bruce-Guadalupe School, Milwaukee. After studying at the Mexican American Cultural Center in San Antonio, Sister Mary Niva went to Honduras in 1988 to minister with sisters in El Progreso. After remaining there for one year, she spent time studying Spanish in Guatemala and then returned to Honduras, serving in pastoral ministry at Immaculate Conception and starting the Casa Carolina Nutrition Center, both in Sulaco, Yoro. During the early 2000s, she was engaged in pastoral visitation at Casa Nuestra Senora, El Progreso, Yoro, Honduras. From 2003 to 2018, she served as the director of the Shalom Resource Center at Notre Dame of Elm Grove, Elm Grove, Wisconsin. -

ED 2358/21 15 febrero 2021 Original: inglés C Panorama general del Informe de la OIC sobre desarrollo cafetero 2020 Antecedentes El Director Ejecutivo saluda atentamente y tiene el placer de hacer llegar a los Miembros de la OIC el “Panorama general” del Informe sobre desarrollo cafetero 2020, el segundo número de la publicación emblemática de la OIC sobre economía: “El valor del café: sostenibilidad, inclusión y fortaleza de la cadena de valor mundial del café¨. El Informe de este año ofrece entendimiento de la cadena mundial de valor basada en un análisis empírico bien fundamentado. Examina únicamente la dimensión internacional del comercio y no estudia la cadena local de valor ni las pautas de consumo. La publicación oficial del informe completo se hizo el 28 de enero de 2021. Después se hará una gira en la que habrá presentación de los mensajes clave en países Miembros, instituciones de desarrollo y foros políticos con el objetivo de movilizar recursos y recibir apoyo para la aplicación de las principales recomendaciones. El Informe sobre Desarrollo Cafetero 2020 fortalecerá la función de la Organización como la fuente principal y neutral de datos y análisis del café y establecerá el programa en el debate mundial sobre asuntos relacionados con el desarrollo del sector cafetero. El Informe sobre Desarrollo Cafetero responde al mandato de la OIC de ser fuente destacada de información sobre el sector cafetero para aumentar la transparencia del mercado, tal como se dispone en el Acuerdo Internacional del Café de 2007 y se reitera en el plan quinquenal actual 2017-2021. From at least in or about 2004, up to and including in or about 2014, multiple drug-trafficking organizations in Honduras and elsewhere worked together, and with support from certain prominent public and private individuals, including Honduran politicians and law enforcement officials, to receive multi-hundred-kilogram loads of cocaine sent to Honduras via air and maritime routes from, among other places, Venezuela and Colombia. The cocaine shipments were transported westward within Honduras toward the border with Guatemala and eventually imported into the United States, often in coordination with high-ranking members of Mexico's Sinaloa Cartel. 2. From at least in or about 2005, up to and including in or about 2014, ARNALDO URBINA SOTO, CARLOS FERNANDO URBINA SOTO, and MIGUEL ANGEL URBINA SOTO, the defendants, operated one such Honduran drug-trafficking organization, which was based in Yoro, Honduras, where ARNALDO URBINA SOTO acted as mayor between in or about 2009 and in or about 2014. 3. From at least in or about 2005, up to and including in or about 2014, ARNALDO URBINA SOTO, CARLOS FERNANDO URBINA SOTO, and MIGUEL ANGEL URBINA SOTO, the defendants, capitalized on their power in the Yoro Department and aligned with other major Honduran criminal syndicates, such as the Cachiros and the Copan-based group led by Miguel Arnulfo Valle Valle and Luis Alonso Valle Valle, to receive cocaine-laden aircraft at various locations in Honduras, including clandestine airstrips in remote areas as well as public roads in the vicinity of Yoro.
