Haveli Anirudh nestles amongst Aamla (gooseberry) plantation, flowering trees which include Jacaranda, Amaltas and Gulmohar, and natural flora like acacia trees, very close to Jaipur towards Ajmer, in the heart of Rajasthan, home of the Ancient Aravali mountains, which can be seen at a distance towards the west where the sun sets.

There are two suites and five spacious rooms adorned with period furniture, traditional furnishings and contemporary and folk art work designed to give you an experience of a lifetime.

The Haveli is situated in a property spread over 24 acres of forested land, and features 7 bedrooms with attached bathrooms, wifi, fully equipped kitchen, a large swimming pool, bar area and entertainment spaces with a home theatre system and a library (the latter two to be commissioned soon). In addition, it also offers picturesque views of the neighbouring countryside, with the gorgeous hues of the rising and setting sun an experience to remember. Camel rides, day trips to neighbouring Bagru (town) famous for its art of block printing, and local home cooked cuisine can also be arranged upon request.

Haveli Anirudh is an inward looking building in the old Haveli architectural style with several inner chowks, much of it built in stone and lime masonry with stone patti ceilings and natural sandstone used extensively in flooring. Very intricately hand carved filigreed stone screens (Jalis) have been used extensively. Period furniture adorns the rooms and common spaces. There has been an extensive use of skylights and wide windows bring in natural light and air in all the rooms and common spaces in the building. Antique doors and venetian blinds adorned wooden windows add elegance add beauty to the Haveli.

How to reach – One can fly from several international as well as domestic airports into the Sanganer Airport, Jaipur from where a cab would take you to your destination – approximate time taken 45 minutes. One can also travel by train to Jaipur junction or by bus to Sindhi Camp Bus station and then take a cab to the Haveli – approximate time taken 45-60 minutes. Pick up from the airport and railway station can be arranged upon request.)

About us

Haveli Anirudh belongs to the Mayaram family, residents of Village Rampura Unti in Jaipur district of Rajasthan. The family patriarch, who founded the family, Shri Mayaram (Baluni), originally hailed from Garhwal, in Uttarakhand. Balunis, a sub-clan of the Kashyap Brahmins lived in Baluni, a region in old Armenia c.400-800 A.D. The ruler about 44 A.D was Varaz Chapuh Baluni followed by several other rulers of the clan. The legend has it that one line of Balunis travelled to India and settled in Garhwal. The family patriarch Shri Mayaram lived near Srinagar in a village in Tehri Garhwal but moved to and settled in Rajasthan on being banished by the then Maharaja for participating in the national movement as a student leader.

Anirudh was grandson of Shri Mayaram and Indira Mayaram, and son of Arvind Mayaram and Shail Mayaram. A young man full of adventurous spirit and zest for life, he died young and Haveli Anirudh celebrates his life and the joy he brought into all the lives he touched, especially his close friends and relatives.
