How to Export or Import Files Using Airdrop or Other Apps
Share via Airdrop
Share track or waypoints via Airdrop or other apps like Gmail,Drive,etc.or import into storage or a supported app.
-1- Go to Menu > Setup and selectiTunes Drag & Drop.
--2- 2 - Ensure iTunes Drag & Drop is toggled ON.
-3- Next,go to Menu > Tracks /Waypoints > select a track orwaypoint, and then selectOptions .
-4- SelectShare with Airdrop.
-11--5- Select Airdrop...
…or the app that your want to share the track or waypoint on.
-6- You can also copy directly to otherapps that support GPX files...
…or save the file to your iCloud/iPhone storage.
-7- To see the complete list of options,scroll to the end and selectMore .
-8- 1 Using iTunes or Finder
Move track & waypoints between your iPhone and your computer usingFile Sharing.
-9- Go to Menu > Setup and selectiTunes Drag & Drop.
-10-- 2 - Ensure iTunes Drag & Drop is toggled ON.
-11- If using iTunes,plug your iPhone into your computer,launch iTunes,and then select thephone icon.
SelectFile Sharing from the sidebar andthen selectMotionX-GPS .
-12- The “MotionX-GPS Documents”pane contains all of the GPX files on your iPhone.
Select a file(s) and then drag to or from your iPhone or desktop.
-13- Alternatively,useAdd … to move GPX filesto your phone.
OruseSave… to save GPX files to yourcomputer.
-14- If you are on Mac OS Catalina (or later),you will use Finder instead of iTunes.
Plug your iPhone into your computer,launch Finder,and then select thephone icon.
Select theFiles tab.
-15- Expand MotionX-GPS
Select a file(s) and then drag to or fromyour iPhone or desktop.
-16- Import via Email
You can import a GPX file sent by a friend or import a file which youʼve emailed to yourself.
-17- Select theGPX file attachment.
-18-- 2 - Select theShare icon...
…and then Copy to MotionX-GPS (which may be located under “More”).
-19-- 2 - SelectImport.
-20-- 2 - SelectDone.
