Tabitha Aldrich, Holy Name's Director of Religious Education has asked me to once again serve as the First Communion Coordinator. We will have a meeting to go over additional specifics, but for now, please make note of the following and if you have any questions, please let me know. 1. Mass Attendance Signin book: There are 2 binders at the back of the main church (and the chapel, once the painting is done). The white binder will have the names of students preparing for First Holy Communion and the red binder will have the names of students in Confirmation 1 & 2. First Communion students should sign the WHITE binder, next to their names. (If you attend Mass at another parish on an occasional weekend, please take a copy of that church's bulletin to the priest saying that Mass to be signed and then bring the signed bulletin to the next ccd class meeting.) 2. Helping your child participate in the Mass: While weekly CCD classes will help children learn the basics of their faith, it is only by attending Sunday Mass that the children will learn how to pray the Mass and participate in worship with our parish community. Most importantly, we have the opportunity as parents to pass on our faith to our children by shar- ing with them the beauty and significance of what happens at every Mass. God Bless, Jenn Galipeau For information please contact Tabitha Aldrich at : [email protected].
