What a year it has been! I can’t begin thank the NA3HL teams enough for the way they have handled and navigated through this season. The fact that we made it through a full regular season and playoffs in all five divisions is a testament to how invested everyone was to making sure our players could compete and develop. As a result, we now get to celebrate this weekend with two great events in one location, the Fraser Cup and the NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament. While this season has been unique and one of the most challenging in our history, this weekend provides us with an opportunity to showcase our players, our teams, and our league. This weekend is also a bittersweet for all of us in the NAHL and NA3HL office, because we remember our long-time staff member Fraser Ritchie with the awarding of the Fraser Cup.

The slate for the Americans is highlighted by the two teams that finished above the Americans in the Frontier Division standings last season, the Bozeman Ice Dogs (39-7-0-1) and the Sheridan (WY) Hawks (35-11-1-1). Both Bozeman and Sheridan will each meet Great Falls four times this season (2 home/2 away games). The schedule set up by the league also has two Thursday night, one Sunday and Monday night contests in addition to the Friday and Saturday evening contests. The league released the Frontier Division’s 41-regular season game schedule on Thursday, September 10, 2020 as well as the other four divisions (Central, East, West, and South) during the week of September 9th. All regular season games, which begin on Friday, October 2nd and will end on Sunday, March 28th, are subject to change due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus that could affect the contests.
