IMMEDIATELY ELLIS TO PLAY dwyer/jg ORGAN RECITAL 12/29/78 Entertainer

MISSOULA—

Dr. John Ellis, associate professor of music at the University of Montana, will

present an organ recital Sunday, Jan. 7, at 8 p.m. in the Music Recital Hall on

campus.

The first half of the free public program consists of Partita on "Was Gott tut,

das ist wohlgetan" by Pachelbel, Variations on "unter der Linden grune" by

Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck, and & in F Major BWV 540 by Johann Sebastian

Bach.

Following intermission, Prof. Ellis will play quasi Toccata on the

Theme BACH by Milos Sokola; Prelude, Fugue et Variation, Op. 18 by Cesar Franck;

Noel sur les jeux d'anches by Louis Claude d'Aquin, and Variations sur un Noel, Op. 20

by Marcel Dupre.
