Throughout my career I have worked to recognize and reclaim industrial resources and places of national significance. Landmark projects include plans for Lowell National Historical Park and the New York Urban Cultural Park System; others have also received awards.

*Lowell National Historical Park (Mass) -- The plan, enacted by Congress, utilized Lowell’s historic resources to interpret the American Industrial Revolution and revitalize the city. 17.4 Port and Waterfront Development

I have a particular expertise in planning for complex waterfronts. Key projects include the Fore River Shipyard, which received a national award, and the plan to reclaim Boston’s Harbor Beaches enacted by the Massachusetts legislature. I prepared the model scope for harbor planning, adopted by the state and used to plan ports across the Commonwealth.
