(Toronto – May 13) Ali Fedotowsky captured the hearts of Bachelor fans everywhere, choosing her career over love, in the most recent season of The Bachelor with Jake Pavelka. Now, the 25 year-old stunner from San Francisco is ready to put it all on the line for her second chance at finding Mr. Right. The romance and the drama of the sixth installment of hit reality series The Bachelorette begins Monday, May 24, at 9pm ET/PT (8pm CT, 10pm MT) on Citytv (s/ABC). Artwork available at www.rogersmediatv.ca “Each season, The Bachelorette on Citytv proves to be a real fan favourite,” says Malcolm Dunlop, Executive Vice President Programming, Rogers Media Television “With new international destinations and big name musical acts, we think Canada will enjoy watching Ali’s journey week after week.” This season, Ali, the energetic, career woman takes 25 would-be suitors on an international romantic adventure of a lifetime, including stops in Iceland, Turkey, Portugal and Tahiti. For the first time ever, there is a Bachelorette Broadway competition featuring the Tony Award-winning musical The Lion King and a Bachelorette music video with Canada’s hit band Barenaked Ladies. Plus, some of the men are treated to a glamorous photo shoot and private concerts by Jamie Cullum, Joshua Radin and the famed Harlem Boy’s Choir. In the dramatic first episode of The Bachelorette, Ali meets the 25 handsome men – including Canadians Chris H, a real estate developer from Vancouver; Craig M, a dental sales representative from Sarnia, Ontario; and Justin, an entertainment wrestler from Toronto, Ontario – that will vie for her heart. Nothing can prepare Ali for the lengths these men will go to for her attention, like when a hunky skier does a death-defying back flip off the limo and one contender gets down on one knee and proposes. The competition heats up when Chris Harrison brings out the first impression rose, and Ali gets concerned when she receives early warning signals that some of the guys are there for reasons other than love. Tensions rise and tempers clash as the men check out their competition. As the men battle for position, Ali scoops up the first impression rose and offers it to someone who swept her off her feet.
