14 ENGLISH LANGUAGE TRAINING SPEAK AND WRITE—CONFIDENTLY We get it. You don’t just want to be successful in college. You want to be successful in your career. No matter how great you are at your job, you need strong English language skills if you want to master international business and trade.

That’s why so many international students turn to our English Language Learning (ELL) program. It’s a 5-level program that prepares you to succeed in the English-speaking world, no matter what you’re studying or where you are working. The program lets you learn English in an immersion environment while you study. You’ll have access to free tutoring from our campus libraries, and you’ll be able to tap into the latest ESL software, too. We’ve even designed our program so it’s more personal - if your English language skills are more advanced than your writing skills, our program accommodates that.

Centennial’s English for Academic Purposes Program (EAP) is a 3-level, more intensive program designed for students who have prior knowledge of English, but need to improve their English skills in order to qualify to enter into most College programs.

Student Association Last fall marked the opening of the CCSAI’s Athletic and Wellness Centre (AWC) at Progress Campus. This 65,000 square-foot space includes state-of-the-art equipment, a rock climbing wall, multi-purpose athletic studios and squash courts. Not only is the AWC good for you, it is good for the environment. The latest technology has been employed to ensure that the building meets the requirements of a LEEDs Gold-certified building.

The Homestay program partners you with a family, which will help you to adjust to your new city by offering advice and information on getting around.
