It is unique in its revelation of the history of man's spiritual progress and honest in its forthright discus­ sions of the ancient new-age doctrine of ECKANKAR which is appearing again in this world as the truth of spiritual life. The book takes up the study of the spiritual line of ECK Masters since the beginning of this world. These spiritually developed Masters are Adepts in the Ancient Order of the Vairagi. They have kept them­ selves well hidden from human eyes and ears in order to successfully get their work done for mankind. It is their duty to work for individual Souls who take up the path of ECKANKAR, to be returned to the heav­ enly realm where they originated. ECKANKAR is the ancient gospel which does not teach there is original sin as most orthodox religions claim. Paul Twitchell has set out to show that every prominent person in history who has contributed some beneficial good to civilization has been a chela of the hidden teachings of ECK. vii He speaks with authority on the supreme message of ECK which is revealed only to those who have a simple heart. He gives the ultimate way of receiving that which is known as God Consciousness, and he has the true mark of a spiritual Master. From all indica­ tions it seems that many who look for a spiritual Master do not know the true marks of those who wear this high mantle and serve the races of all people. For more information about ECKANKAR, please turn to page 247. viii ECKANKAR, the Ancient Gospel eath and resurrection are basic principles Dtaught in almost every religion since the dawn of time. But ECKANKAR, which is the mainstream for all religions, philosophies and doctrines, was the first to show the people of the earth, through ap­ pointed saviors, that the mystery of salvation is based on the death of the physical and the redemption of Soul. Philosophical writers and religionists have proven the existence of ECK throughout history. The first known world savior was Rama, who started teaching Its principles orally in the dawn of history. The famous line of prophets in the Israelite tribes were trained in the teachings of ECK, as their prophecies well show. The Greek Masters Apollonius, Dionysus, Pythagoras, Socrates, Aristotle, and Plato were taught the art of ECKANKAR by the ancient Adepts. Practically every man who has contributed to civilization has spiritu­ ally been a chela, or student, of the hidden teachings of ECKANKAR. This is true of the sciences, litera­ ture, art, economics, religions, philosophies, the mili­ tary, medicine, and psychology. 1 But in order to build a bridge between the spiritual worlds and our physical domain, it is necessary to reconstruct the living chain that links our many and varied religions together. Hellenism, Christianity, and the religions of Egypt and the Middle East must have their original unity restored to them. The traditions of East and West must once again be reconciled. The story of the saviors has been the common property of the Oriental world for thousands of years. Generally, the story is the same: the lowly birth, struggles through the stormy years, the feast culmi­ nating in the crucifixion at the vernal equinox in the spring, and ascendance into the spiritual heavens. The light flows from one mighty founder of religion to another, from the Himalayas to the plateau of Iran, from Sinai to Tabor, from the tombs of Egypt to the sanctuary of Eleusis. The spiritual teachings held by the people of these areas have all come out of the heart of the omniscient Deity, the single Source we know today in ECKANKAR, the ancient science of total awareness, as the SUGMAD. The great prophets, those powerful figures such as Rama, Krishna, Hermes, Moses, Orpheus, Pythagoras, Plato, and Jesus, are known to have been students in the various mystery schools - such as the Essene - which are all offspring of the ancient order of ECK Masters, known as the Order of the Vairagi Avatars. They are diverse in form, appearance and color. Nevertheless, through all of them moves the impulse of the ECK, the eternal Word. To be in harmony with them is to hear and see the Word of God in action. The supreme message can be revealed ultimately to those simple in heart. Its starting point lies where truth pushes aside the cloak of illusion and becomes the shining inspiration to initiates of ECKANKAR. The 2 linkup of the individual Soul with the essence of the spiritual Word gives the initiate insight into the great mysteries of heaven and earth. The need for spiritual works is universally human, and any individual who assumes he can live without an accompanying spiritual advancement is caught in a self-deceptive trap. Only through the spiritual trav­ elers in the worlds beyond can one find success in the works of the SUGMAD. The four major races that share the globe today are the daughters and sons of varied lands. By successive creations - slow elaborations of the earth - the conti­ nents have emerged from the seas at great intervals of time. These intervals the ancient priests of India called the interdiluvian cycles. During thousands of years each continent produced its flora and fauna, culminating in a race of a different color. The southern continent, engulfed by the last great flood, was the cradle of the red race, of which the American Indians are descendants. They are the off­ spring of the troglodytes, who reached safety at the top of gigantic mountains when Atlantis sank. Africa is the home of the black race, called the Ethiopians by the Greeks. Asia gave birth to the yellow race, as preserved in the Chinese. The white race came last, from the forests of Europe, between the tempests of the Atlantic and the mild world of the Mediterranean.

In 2008 the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) won both the presidency and a small majority in parliament in an election deemed generally free and fair by domestic and international observers; John Evans Atta Mills was inaugurated president in January 2009. There were instances in which elements of the security forces acted independently of government authorities. Human rights problems included the following: use of excessive force by police, which resulted in deaths and injuries; ethnic killings and vigilante violence; harsh and life-threatening prison conditions; police impunity; prolonged pretrial detention; arbitrary arrest of journalists; corruption in all branches of government; violence against women and children, including female genital mutilation (FGM); societal discrimination against women, persons with disabilities, gays and lesbians, and persons with HIV/AIDS; trafficking in women and children; ethnic discrimination and politically motivated violence; and child labor, including forced child labor. There is a spiritual reason the illness occurred. The process of spiritual healing teaches us something about ourselves we didn’t know before. When the eyes are in trouble, we have to ask, What am I not seeing about my spiritual life that is causing me difficulty with my eyesight? You see, the approach assumes responsibility for whatever is wrong. Once we’re willing to shoulder the blame for our thoughts and actions, the inner force can begin to heal us, even as our understanding of the causes becomes known to us through our dreams or other means. It’s pointless to debate the merits of medical doctors versus chiropractors or herbalists. Your karma differs from that of other people. You as an individual have to find the healing modality that is right for you. Even that can change with time. Your state of consciousness today is not the same as it used to be or it will be in two weeks or a couple of years from now. As karma surfaces, it works out through the weakest point in our body. As quickly as we can release our attachment to whatever is hurting us, we allow the karma to pass off quickly, and our health stays balanced. The key to stay in tune with Divine Spirit. ABSTRACT The subject of astrology in the School of Eckankar has two main bases of Karma and reincarnation. Karma or the very law of action and reaction can be called the moral basis of the Eckankar. The totality of this law is accepted by the reason and tradition. But yet what casts doubt and therefore a serious damage to this law would be a tight connection between Karma and Incarnation in the School of Eckankar. This is because the ECK believes that Karma is incarnated through the transmigration, and moves from a birth to another one and this long way is continued up to the constellations. Therefore, in this writing and while explaining the Karma and accepting it in its totality, various typed of incarnation are explained ,and then it will be studied and criticized based on the teachings of Islam.     Basic Beliefs of Eckankar Harold Klemp, the spiritual leader of Eckankar, describes the basic beliefs of Eckankar as follows: he teachings of ECK define the nature of Soul more carefully than do other current religions. Each person is Soul, a particle of God sent into the lower worlds (including earth) to gain spiritual experience. Purified by the spiritual exercises, he comes into contact with the Holy Spirit. His goal is spiritual freedom in this lifetime, after which he becomes a Co-worker with God, both here and in the next world. Karma and reincarnation are primary beliefs. Key to the ECK teachings is the Mahanta, the Living ECK Master. He has the special ability to act as both Inner and Outer Master for ECK students. He is the prophet of Eckankar, given respect but not worship. He teaches the sacred name of God, HU, which lifts one spiritually into the Light and Sound of God, the ECK. The ECK (the Holy Spirit) purifies one of karma (sin), making it possible for him to accept the full love of God in this lifetime. Then he gains wisdom, charity, and freedom. Personal experience with the Light and Sound of God is the cornerstone of Eckankar. Of all the religions on earth today, Eckankar offers the most direct teachings on the Light and Sound of God. These twin pillars are missing in whole or in part from the rest. People who truly find these two aspects of God undergo a complete spiritual change. Life becomes fresh and new again, as it was in early childhood.

Three major topics are probed into in the school of Eckankar, i.e. the definition of religion, the origin of religion, and exclusiveness. On the topic of the definition of religion, Eckankar essentially regards as a religious experience in its common sense in the western culture. Therefore religion is an experience that the individual passes in him, and observing rituals such as going to the church are not regarded as faithfulness. From the point of view of Islamic teachings such an attitude causes the reduction of the values of the epistemic role of religion, while in Islam the epistemic aspects are very strong. On the topic of the origin of religion, once again the Eckankar School regards religion as the individual’s personal experiences .Therefore, based on the multiplicity of the individual’s religious experiences; religions will be multiple as well. Islamic teachings regard personal experiences as based on divine nature, but does not agree with the religious multiplicity as multiplicity in the legitimacy as regarded by the Eckankar School. The concluding part of this of this paper is the topic of religious exclusiveness of which the Eckankar School is a fervent advocate, but yet there are many contradictory points in the contents of the speeches of the supporters of this school.

But some people are more open to the Light of ECK than others. They are more spiritually attuned beings. Walt Disney was one such individual. He was an artist in a world of moneymakers. Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the first full-length cartoon feature, marked a turning point in film animation. Up to this point, cartoons were very short, running only a few minutes in length. Disney was faced with the creative challenge of making a cartoon that was ten times longer than usual. He had a good enough understanding of human nature to know he would run into resistance to something new. In film there was a growing trend toward longer presentations. But a cartoon?
