! Cheyenne RodeoFrontier Days July 25-28, 2016

Cheyenne's world-class rodeo is truly the Daddy of ‘em all. Known for its fast pace and large number of contestants, the CFD rodeo ensures that visitors see more rodeo action (over 40 bulls and 70 saddle and bareback broncs daily) that you can’t see at any other rodeo. Every event is performed in each of the nine daily performances, so any day at Cheyenne Frontier Days is a good day to see an exciting, action-packed rodeo.

! Day One – Monday – July 25th Departure schedule to be announced - Coffee, juice, and muffins will be served on the bus this morning. Lunch (on your own) stop and travel breaks are scheduled throughout the day. Today we travel across Nebraska and end up in Cheyenne, WY. Dinner and overnight accommodation are included this evening. Day Two – Tuesday – July 26th Continental breakfast is included at our hotel this morning before we start our day. Grand Parade is held in historic downtown Cheyenne and includes floats, marching bands, Cheyenne Frontier Days priceless collection of antique carriages, automobiles and riders in period dress. After the Grand Parade we will proceed to the Rodeo ground for the afternoon activities: Today everyone is on their own to – visit everything around the rodeo grounds and attend the rodeo. 12:00 pm - PRCA Rodeo starts - Rodeos begin at 12:45 p.m. and ends at approximately 4:30 p.m. The pre-show event begins at noon. Everyone is on their own after the Rodeo – visit the Indian Village, do a Behind The Chutes Tours; visit the merchants at the Wild Horse Gulch; check out the food at the Chuchwagon Cook-off; walk through the Carnival Midway; check out the free entertainment in the Oasis Area, or stop in for some refreshments at the Buckin' A Saloon before we return to our hotel. Day Three – Wednesday – July 27th Continental breakfast is included at our hotel this morning before we return to the Rodeo grounds. Everyone is on their own at the Rodeo this morning – visit the Indian Village, do a Behind The Chutes Tours; visit the merchants at the Wild Horse Gulch; check out the food at the Chuchwagon Cook-off; or walk through the Carnival Midway. 12:00 pm – PRCA Rodeo starts!- Rodeos begin at 12:45 p.m. and ends at approximately 4:30 p.m. The pre-show event begins at noon.
