CEO Bonnie VanVoorhees Marketing & Communications Assistant Symphony Chat Josie Fife March 2020 Financial Manager David Rupp The Excitement Continues Librarian/SBYO Manager There is still time to experience the excitement of orchestral music as the Saginaw Donald Belcher Bay Symphony Orchestra (SBSO) continues its 2019-2020 season, Soul of the SBYO Administrator Symphony. The remaining season will include our March concert where we are Ruth Ann Robinson excited to welcome back Kevin Cole to the Temple Theatre for our 4th concert of the season, Cole Meets Gershwin. Mr. Cole is a Bay City native, SVSU Visiting Artist and a SBYO Musical Director world-famous George Gershwin expert. He will be performing Gershwin's Piano Rod Bieber Concerto in F, as well as compositions from Verdi and Russian composer Production/Librarian Intern Shostakovich during this exciting performance.

Emma VanVoorhees We will also be introducing College Night at the Symphony during our upcoming concert. College Night is an introductory program for college students to experience SBSO BOARD orchestral performances for only $10! Tickets must be purchased the night of the concert with a valid student ID. We hope students will take the opportunity to talk President with the Maestro, Special Guest and Musicians at our AfterGlow, held in the Leopard Felicia Rose-Barry Lounge. Vice-President We will then conclude the season with our May 9 concert, Symphonie Fantastique, Deborah Huntley featuring the work of Hector Berlioz, Michael Daugherty, and the brilliant Secretary Khachaturian Violin Concerto performed by the SBSO's own concertmaster, Eliot Cynthia Chadwick Heaton.

Treasurer Classical music has a rich heritage. It has endured because it has broad appeal to both Claudia Zacharek, MD old and young alike. For some it is a night out, for others it is time to immerse Board Members themselves in the arts and culture. But whatever the reason, the Saginaw Bay Al Blinke Symphony will always give you an exciting evening and you may even recognize Paul Chaffee more of the music than you think.
