Conservation Voters New Mexico 2020 General Election Endorsed Candidates Outcomes Conservation Voters New Mexico (CVNM) endorsed a record number of candidates for the general election. For the state House, 35 of 44 endorsed candidates won, an 80% victory rate. There are 37 women in the House, representing over 50% of the members. In the Senate, 25 of 29 endorsed candidates won, an 86% win rate. Women make up only 12% of Senate members. Harold Pope Jr won his campaign for Senate district 23, becoming the first Black Senator in the state’s history. Following is the complete list of CVNM endorsements and their outcomes.
