Situation of Polling Stations European Parliamentary election Situation of polling stations Electoral region: Electoral Region of Scotland Counting area: Moray The poll for this election will take place between 7am and 10pm on Thursday 22 May 2014. The start of the year was marked by the appearance of our first Nuthatch, a species currently expanding its range in Scotland. Unusual wildfowl in the first winter period included two long-staying Smews, up to five Surf Scoters and a Green-winged Teal. Waxwings were widespread in small numbers and the first of two Mediterranean Gulls for the year was a striking adult on Loch Spynie. Spring arrivals continued the early trend of recent years with record early dates for Swift, Cuckoo, Sedge Warbler and Spotted Flycatcher.
