There are several types of PCPs in this directory. Each covered family member may choose a different PCP in UnitedHealthcare Community Plan. Except in an emergency, your PCP and staff will give or manage all your health care. This includes referrals to specialists. PCPs may be family or general practitioners, internists, pediatricians, or other providers approved by UnitedHealthcare Community Plan.
