There is a group who walk and say the Rosary every Monday at 9:30am at St. Anne. The follow- ing information is shared from Karen Sandberg.

Power up your prayer! Go on a Rosary Walk & pray for healing in our country and world! Let's pray, intently, for a fresh and new outpouring of the we all received on Pentecost. Let's bring the power of the Holy Spirit we have received to bless this land of ours with "Rosary Walks!" Let's embrace our call to bring God's blessing to heal our land! "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." -2 Chronicles 7:14

The "Rosary Walk" movement is not meant to be complex, at all. Simply grab your rosary (and your family and friends) and get outside and walk. Two ways to help strengthen your prayer:

1. Be in a State of Grace - This is our Spiritual Armor. Keep your Confessions, at most, a month apart (or right af- ter serious sin). 2. Fasting - Fasting adds strength to our prayers. Fasting gives the underdog the advantage. Fast in whatever way God is calling.

For More information ~ RosaryWalk.com

INTERESTED IN MEETING UP WITH OTHERs for a public rosary walk weekly? Individuals/ families are welcome to meet up on MONDAY's at 9:30AM for a public rosary - start at the outdoor Altar in St. Anne's Cemetery. (if bad weather we could meet in the covered area in front of Beaudette Center or in church)

Mission Trip – Local Edition. Projects needed! This year’s high school mission trip, originally scheduled for the Cheyenne River Reservation in South Dakota, has been cancelled due to COVID-19. However, we are still desiring to be the hands and feet of Christ in our local community! If you have a project that could help us in this mission, please contact Sara at 715-529- 7272.

Dear Families of St. Anne, Assumption, and St. Joseph,

In June, St. Anne Catholic School distributed a press release announcing it will be re-opening this fall for traditional, full-time, at-school learning. It was published in various news outlets. Below is an update on enrollment and an excerpt from the press release.

 There are still openings in most grades, but there is a limit of 12 students per class. (To accommodate concerns regarding social distancing.)

 All families are welcome regardless of religious preference.

 Financial assistance is available.

Please pass along this information to your friends and families who may have an interest in se- curing a spot for their children in an environment that is favorable for traditional learning without the need to significantly alter the day-to-day routine that students were accustomed to prior to COVID-19.

Somerset, WI, June 23, 2020 – St. Anne Catholic School announced it will re-open this fall for tra- ditional at-school learning; the school will return to the customary hours/schedule that existed be- fore the pandemic. Per the Education Committee, “St. Anne Catholic School is in an excellent position to re-open due to its small class sizes (in terms of the number of students) and large-size classrooms (to maintain so- cial distancing guidelines).” Besides promoting a healthier and potentially safer environment in these unusual circumstances, small class sizes enhance teaching and learning in general. The smaller-scale footprint of the building, itself, is a manageable setting for the custodial team to efficiently comply with the comprehensive cleaning and disinfecting routine as recommended by the Department of Health. The Education Committee approved a further safety measure by limiting enrollment to 12 students per grade (K-8) for the upcoming school year. (Two grade levels will be grandfathered in due to being slightly over that number last year, but social dis- [email protected] tancing will not be affected.)
