Some of his important film roles have included "Joan of Arc" with Ingrid Bergmann, "Snake Pit" with Olivia de Haviland, "Show Boat" with Ava Gardner, "With a Song in My Heart" with Susan Hayward, and "On the Waterfront" with Marlon Brando. Bil Pfuderer, (Gene Garrison), director of the season's opening production of ''The Corn is Green," begins his first year as a new member of FIRST the theatre faculty. Mr. Pfuderer holds degrees from the University of Iowa, The University of STATE Erlangen, Germany, and Western Illinois Univer sity. In addition to a strong academic background he also shows an impressive list of professional BANK theatre credits in the areas of acting, directing, and design. Mr. Pfuderer has appeared on Broadway, in several regional theatres in America as well as NEW HOURS abroad in Germany and England. He was recently LOBBY honored in both areas by receiving the award, Outstanding American Educator 444-6671 MON 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM 1974-75, as well as being granted membership in the United Scenic Artists of TUE - THU 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM America. His list of theatre credits include such varied roles as James Tyrone 3828 South 1st FRI 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM in "Long Day's Journey Into Night, King Arthur in "Camelot," Michael in "The Boys in the Band," Tevya in "Fiddler on the Roof," El Gallo in "The Fantasticks" and the title role in Shakespeare's "Richard III." He DRIVE-THRU has been resident actor-singer with the Melody Top Theatre in Chicago and Milwaukee as well as guest actor and director with the famed Mule Barn MON - FRI 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM Theatre of Tarkio, Missouri. In addition to his stage experience, Mr. Pfuderer has a full schedule of appearances as a concert artist. Marilyn K. McDonald is directing for the first time on the Mary Moody Northen Stage. She is from Ashland, Oregon and has wide and varied exper ience not only as a director but as an actress and teacher. Ms. McDonald received her BFA from the University of Utah and a Terminal degree from Yale University. She also has studied at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London, England. She took acting and voice from Kathleen Stafford at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in Bristol and also studied acting with Miss Fedro at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London. Ms. McDonald was faculty director for Southern Oregon State College and Artistic Director of the Wagon Summer Program in cooperation with the cities of Ashland, Medford, Open For The Pleasure of Dining. Jacksonville and Southern Oregon State College. She has performed over 50 leading and featured roles in theatres off-Broadway in New York City, Fine Italian Cuisine.
