East Lothian Council in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 152(2) and part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Roads () Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Traffic Commissioner and the Chief Constable of in accordance with Part III and V of Schedule 9 to the Act hereby make the following Order: -

1. This Order may be cited as the “East Lothian Council (A199 Haddington to East Linton) (Redetermination of means of exercise of public right of passage) Order 2015 and shall come into effect on 18 day of April 2016 2. The restriction imposed by this Order shall be in addition to and not in derogation of any restriction or requirement imposed by any regulations made under the 1984 Act or by or under any other enactment 3. The length of road in East Lothian specified in Schedule 1 to this Order, at present a footway, shall become a cycle track the right of passage being exercisable on pedal cycle and foot only.

LENGTH OF ROAD OVER WHICH MEANS OF EXERCISE OF PUBLIC RIGHT OF PASSAGE IS TO BE REDETERMINED:

A199, Haddington to East Linton

That part of the northern footway from Abbotsview Interchange extending eastwards for a distance of 7215 metres or thereby to the junction of B1407 Haddington Road, East Linton.
