Our second semester of Tyler Buller classes officially begins on January 20, 2009. The first half of the school T Administrative Resource Center (ARC) year has been a productive one for our students and staff. The district is completing a long-range facility plan and Clay Guthmiller, Superintendent updated enrollment report, which will provide future discussions and decisions. However, with Bruce Amendt, Executive Director of Academic Services the slowed economy, tighter budgets and other factors, the Johnston Community Janice Miller-Hook, Exec. Mike Volz, Director of Transportation The district conducted an open house on Nov. 16 for the newly completed Gary Ross, Director of Activities and Athletics additions and renovations to Johnston High School. Construction of an addition to the school transportation School Principals facility will begin next summer. Cheryl Henkenius, Timber Ridge Elementary The Board of Education has asked the administration to draft a revised busing Suzie Pearson, Wallace Elementary plan for the 2009-2010 school year. The plan would revise the current busing Schools guidelines and would include a charge for busing service provided to all K-7 Beaver Creek Elementary, 278-6228 students who live one mile or less from their schools and all 8-12 grade students Horizon Elementary, 986-1121 who live two miles or less from their respective schools.
