Advisors with WMCP™ have extensive knowledge of personal wealth and investment management, including portfolio theory, mastery of investment tools, and advanced wealth management strategies. The education uses a competency-based approach to focus learning in areas where the student needs to build expertise, including tax rules, financial products, behavioral finance, household portfolio theory, and asset allocation. TM Who Should Enroll in WMCP ? The WMCP™ designation is intended for financial planning professionals who need to cultivate a deep knowledge of goal-based personal investment management. Upon completion of the program, the student should be able to: 1. Employ a goal-based process for planning and managing client wealth. 2. Create an efficient investment portfolio. 3. WMCP™ is an online, self-paced education program, which includes video lectures, interactive text and exercises, knowledge checks, behavioral self-checks, practice exams, and advanced practical simulations. There are no textbooks. A pre-routing assessment will create a customized learning path that will self-adjust as the student progresses through the material. Learners are provided constant feedback on their application of concepts and are given steps to take to improve performance.
