Judging will start at: Junior 8:30 AM, Senior to follow Junior, Master to follow Senior Please arrive at Test Headquarters (see page 5 for directions) prior to 8:00 AM to meet the Caravan that will be leaving for the test site.

Fees and Payment

Event Fees (including G.S.T.) per Entry Junior = $30.00 Senior =$35.00 Master = $40.00 CKC Listing fee per dog/event =$9.00 Listing fees are payable with the entry fee for dogs that do not have their individual registration number at the closing date.

All entry fees must be paid in full prior to the start of the test. Please mail fees with appropriate entry forms to the Hunt Test Secretary:

A separate entry form for Each Dog in Each Stake is required. Multiple entries on a single form will NOT be accepted.

Payment: Cash, Money Order or Cheque payable to the PEI Retriever Club. NO POST DATED CHEQUES accepted. All N.S.F. cheques will be subject to a charge of $20.00.

24-12-3. CKC Non-member Participation Fee a) An annual non-member participation fee for awards and titles will be charged to a Canadian non- member of CKC. The fee will match the ERN fee ($57.60). b) In order to protect the awards/titles earned, the non-member will have a choice either to become a CKC member or to pay the non-member participation fee. Failure to comply within 30 days of notification will cause all awards and titles to be cancelled. c) The Premium List must carry a note stating that “This only applies to dogs wholly owned by Canadian resident non-members and is not applicable to CKC members or dogs co-owned with a CKC member.”

2 General Information

Clothing In keeping with the aim of simulated hunting conditions and situations, handlers, judges, workers and other participants shall be attired in camouflage, dark or customary hunting attire which adequately reflects a waterfowl or upland hunting environment.

Caution Notice The field test committee will use due care and vigilance for the safety of all, but will not be responsible for any loss or damage to any dog or to any equipment, weather the result of an accident or otherwise. Furthermore, the PEI Retriever Club will assume no liability in the event of an accident or other misfortune to participants or bystanders.

Running order Dogs and bitches will be run in “Catalogue Order” as determined by the draw which will take place after the entries have closed.

Release and Indemnification of Landowners By entering this Hunt Test, each participant agrees to assume all risks and hazards incidental to participation in the test and agrees to release, save harmless and indemnify the owner(s) of any property upon which the test is held together with their officers, agents, employees and representatives from all claims, actions, costs, expenses and demands in respect to death, injury, loss or damage to the person or property of the participant howsoever caused, arising out of or in connection with the participant's use or entry upon the property. It is understood that this agreement is binding upon the participant, or his heirs, his executors and assigns.

Rule 19.7 "It shall be the duty and obligation of the trial-giving club to see that a judge, club official, volunteer or any participant at an event held under these rules, is not subject to any indignities of any kind. The Retriever Field Trial Committee Chair shall promptly report to the CKC any infringement of this regulation, and the Discipline Committee shall have the authority to take such action as it deems fit on receipt of a report indicating that this has occurred."

Birds Game birds will be ducks and/or pheasants (Pigeons for Master flush).

Other matters A canteen will be available for lunches.

Awards for qualifiers will be ribbons as specified by the CKC.

The Caravan will leave Head Quarters to the test site at 8:00 AM sharp on the morning of the test.
