Choose from a Wide Range of Storage Management and Backup Tools Wasabi is a little bit different than most consumer cloud storage services. Wasabi is not intended to be an all-in-one personal storage and backup solution with a dedicated, drag-and-drop desktop or mobile client like Dropbox or Google Drive.

Understanding Wasabi Hot Storage Pricing Since Wasabi is used primarily by larger businesses, it is also priced a little bit differently than most consumer services. Most personal cloud storage products are priced by capacity. You pay a fixed fee for a full terabyte (or more) of storage every month whether you use it or not. For example, Dropbox and Google Drive charge $9.99 per month to store up to 1 TB of data, while Microsoft charges $6.99 per month to store up to 1 TB of data on OneDrive.

With Wasabi you only pay for the storage you actually use. Wasabi hot storage costs just $.0039/GB/month (or $3.99 per TB per month). In addition, as with other corporate cloud storage services, we charge a separate fee ($.04/GB) every time you retrieve data from the cloud.1

Depending on how much data you store in the cloud, and how frequently you download it, Wasabi could end up costing less than a personal cloud storage service like Dropbox. Using Wasabi Hot Storage for Data Protection You can use Wasabi with third-party applications to back up your home or small-business computer—quickly, securely and reliably. In some cases Wasabi is less expensive than personal cloud backup services like Carbonite, Mozy, CrashPlan or Backblaze, which cost $60 a year or more.
