DAILY ITINERARY

DAY 1: USA / PARIS Today: Your pilgrimage begins today as you depart on your flight to Paris. Meals and drinks served aloft.

DAY 2: ARRIVE PARIS / LISIEUX / Today: Upon arrival in Paris this morning we will clear immigration, collect our baggage, meet our local tour manager and head to Lisieux (2.5 hour drive). Lisieux, the home of St. Therese the “Little Flower of Jesus.” We will see the house where St. Therese lived as a child, the Carmelite Convent where she was a nun, the Basilica of St. Theresa and Cathedral of St. Peter. After Mass we will head to our hotel in Bayeux. Evening: Dinner and overnight accommodations at your hotel.

DAY 3: BAYEUX / MONT SAINT MICHEL / OMAHA BEACH / BAYEUX Today: After breakfast the group will travel to Mont Saint Michel to see the incredible island city with its high steeple pointing towards heaven. Upon arrival we´ll visit the beautiful monastery of Mont-Saint-Michel. Surrounded by the sea and soaring proudly above glistening sand, the silhouette of Mont-Saint-Michel is one of the most enchanting sights in all of . We then travel to see the almost 10,000 white marble crosses which glow in memory of the soldiers who died at Omaha Beach during the massive Allied landing on June 6, 1944. This was the eye of the hurricane where the end of WW II began. Mass will be celebrated in memory of these soldiers in the haunting cemetery which crowns the beach After Mass we will return to our hotel. Evening: Dinner and overnight accommodations at your hotel.

DAY 4: BAYEUX / PARIS Today: After breakfast, we board our bus and return to Paris (3 hour drive)! This afternoon we will enjoy a tour of the “City of Lights “including visits to the Eiffel Tower, the famous Opera House (outside visit), the Arc de Triomphe (outside visit), and Montmartre with its magnificent Basilica of Sacre Coeur. Evening: Dinner and overnight accommodations at your hotel.

DAY 5: PARIS / VERSAILLES / CRUISE ON THE SEINE RIVER Today: This morning we will take an excursion to Versailles, the magnificent palace designed by Louis XIV to become the very symbol of the French monarchy and French national pride. Our guided tour of the State Apartments includes the magnificent Hall of Mirrors, where so many historical events have taken place. Evening: Special dinner at a restaurant in Paris. After dinner, enjoy a cruise on the Seine River. See 1,000 years of history while passing 25 bridges and the main illuminated monuments of Paris. Overnight accommodations at your hotel.

DAY 6: PARIS / CHARTRES / PARIS Today: Proceed to visit the stunning Chartres Cathedral, and after Mass, we will then return to Paris and visit the world-famous Louvre Museum which contains countless works of art including the Mona Lisa and Venus de Milo. Evening: Dinner and overnight accommodations at your hotel.

DAY 7: PARIS / LOURDES Today: We will visit the Shrine of Saint Vincent de Paul where the saint’s body is on display in a precious reliquary. Then visit the Chapel of the Miraculous Medal at Rue de Bac where Our Lady appeared to St. Catherine Laboure in 1830. In the afternoon, we catch our train through the beautiful French countryside to Lourdes (5 hour ride). At night, joyful singing fills the narrow streets. Laughter is woven with prayer. Pilgrims come from all nations. Whether visitors experience a healing miracle or not, most say the miracle becomes simply being in Lourdes. Upon arrival, we will be met and transfer to our hotel for check-in. Evening: Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at your hotel.

DAY 8: LOURDES: WALKING TOUR OF THE SANCTUARIES Today: Breakfast at our hotel. Mass at the Grotto. This morning, participate in the walking tour of Lourdes and visit the places associated with the life of Bernadette. The places include the Boly Mill, where St. Bernadette was born; the Locale Mill, residence of her parents; the "Cochot," formerly used as a jail where she lived at the time of the Apparitions; the chapel where St. Bernadette received her First Holy Communion; and the parish church containing the Baptismal Font where she was baptized. Independent lunch. This afternoon is free for private devotions, Stations of the Cross, visiting the grotto and miraculous baths. There will also be an opportunity to attend the blessing of the sick, one of the most inspiring events at the shrine. Perhaps you will choose to return to one of the places that touched you on the tour of the sanctuary domain. On one side of the main square is the Chapel of Reconciliation, where there are priests available to hear confessions. Celebrate Mass at the Upper Basilica in Lourdes, sung by St. Thomas the Apostle Church Choir. Concert presentation at the Upper Basilica (subject to confirmation). Evening: Dinner at hotel restaurant. At 9:00 p.m. join in the candlelight procession, recitation of the rosary, and singing of hymns to honor the Mother of God. Overnight accommodations at your hotel.

DAY 9: LOURDES / BARTRES / LOURDES Today: In the morning take a side trip to the neighboring town of Bartres. In Bartres, we will visit a traditional French village. This is also the town where St. Bernadette spent part of her childhood. Return to Lourdes. Afternoon is free for private devotions and Mass in the Grotto, Way of the Cross, and confession. After dinner, participate in the Candlelight Procession or simply spend private time at the "Grotto." Dinner and overnight in Lourdes. Evening: Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at your hotel.

DAY 10: LOURDES / U.S.A. Today: Following breakfast, transfer to Pau Airport near Lourdes or Toulouse Airport to catch our return flight. Pilgrimage Cost/Registration/Deposit/Final Payment

• *The Pilgrimage cost is $3900.00 per person based on double occupancy. A limited number of single rooms may be available for an additional charge of $600.00 per person. These will be awarded on a first come first serve basis. Pilgrim Travel will make every attempt to match single travelers looking to share a double room. If no match is possible, the $600.00 single room surcharge will be assessed. • Registration is conducted at the Pilgrim Travel website (www.pilgrimtravel.info) • Traveler information entered on the registration form MUST match Passport data exactly • Passports must be current 6 months after the scheduled date of departure • A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $350.00 is due at registration. Deposits may be made via Credit Card or submitted by mail. Credit Card convenience fees are waved for this contract • Registrations will not be considered complete until all required information (see online registration form) is provided to Pilgrim Travel and the $350.00 Non-Refundable deposit is received. • Final payment must be received by Pilgrim travel no later than March 18th, 2020.

Cancellations and Refunds

• All cancellations must be submitted in writing. o Cancelations made after registration forfeit the $350.00 deposit o Cancelations 119 - 92 days prior to departure require a $250 charge (balance of payment will be refunded) o Cancelations 91 – 61 days prior to departure require a $500 charge (balance of payment will be refunded) o Cancelations 60 – 22 days prior to departure require a $1000 charge (balance of payment will be refunded) o Cancelations 21 days or less prior to departure receive NO REFUND
