As with any process, arbitration needs to be managed carefully in order to assure the quality of its output. There are a number of measures corporate counsel can employ to ensure that the outcome meets the expectation of their companies. Sharing the strategies they have developed over the years to keep arbitrations on track, the panelists will point out pertinent considerations for corporate counsel to address at each step of the process, beginning with selecting the arbitrator and utilizing outside counsel.

CLE Credit Information: This conference has been approved in NYS for 8.5 transitional/non-transitional CLE credit hours (7 Professional Practice and 1.5 Skills) - NYS Scholarship will be available upon request. The American Arbitration Association is a Registered Provider (#1053) with the State Bar of California and therefore this conference is eligible for a total of 8 hours of CLE credit in California. It has also been approved by the Pennsylvania CLE Board for 8 hours of substantive law, practice and procedure CLE credit. We will also be applying for Florida and Texas CLE. The AAA will not be offering CLE in any other jurisdiction but can provide a Uniform Certificate of Attendance for individuals to apply for their own state CLE.
