Notice and Announcement Amendments to Prospectus and Product Key Facts Statement

All capitalized terms used in this notice and announcement (but not defined) have the same meaning ascribed to them in XIE Shares ETF’s Prospectus dated 25 July 2013, as supplemented by the Addenda dated 9 September 2013, 11 April 2014, 2 November 2015 and 21 December 2015 (together the “Prospectus”) and the Product Key Facts Statements (“KFS”) dated 22 February 2016, which are available at the XIE Shares Trust I website at www.xieshares.com and the HKExnews website at www.hkexnews.hk.

EIP hereby announces that changes made to the offering document of the XIE Shares ETFs.

The Prospectus is amended by way of a fifth addendum (“Fifth Addendum”). The Fifth Addendum provides information relating to the top 10 largest constituent stocks by weighting of the Underlying Index as at 29 January 2016, replacement of the term “Total Expense Ratio with “Ongoing Charges” and transaction levy.

The Fifth addendum of the Prospectus for this purpose is attached for your information.

A revised KFS has also been issued (“Revised KFS”) to reflect the information about ongoing charges, tracking difference and past performance of the XIE Shares ETFs as per the latest SFC requirements. The Revised KFS also provides updates on the top 10 largest constituent stocks by weighting of the Underlying Index as at 29 January 2016, the minimum credit rating selection criteria in respect of each Swap Counterparty and transaction levy.

The ongoing charges figure is based on expenses in a financial year. This figure may vary from year to year. It represents the sum of the ongoing expenses chargeable to the Index Fund expressed as a percentage of the average net asset value.
