Purchased Acres 13.50 of Land at Pothavaram (Village), Nallajerla Mandal, West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh.(cost Rs 1.08 Crores) 4. Land Conversion Completed (cost Rs 12.0 Lakhs) 5. Obtained EC from the Ministry of Environment and Forest, Government of India. 6. Obtained NOC from the Village Panchayat. 7. Obtained Ground Water permission from the Ground Water Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh. 8. Obtained approval from Director, Town and Country Planning Department. 9. Obtained approval from Director of Factories. 10. Obtained approval from Director of Fire Services. 11. Obtained full-fledged License from Govt. of AP for setting up Distillery. REASONS FOR THE DELAY The following are certain important factors for the delay in implementation of the Project. a) Separate Telangana State agitation and non-functioning of Offices b) Agitation in Andhra Pradesh for an integrated State c) Non appointment of Members by Government for a period of one year to the AP Pollution Control Board e) Shifting of Electricity Department to Guntur for approval of “Line Drawings” and the related issues f) Majority of the above factors our out of our control. With the support from all quarters we have reached this stage and ready for implementing the project as land leveling, fencing, placement of machinery orders, advance of Rs 1.50 Cr paid to machinery suppliers, digging of bore wells etc., are completed(the order placed is attached as EXHIBIT-I. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) more than 80% diseases of mankind are water borne. The present research work is focused on characterization of water samples collected before and after treatment from Rural Water Supply (RWS) schemes located at Revenue Mandal Head Quarters Ganapavaram and Nallajerla of West Godavari district during pre and post monsoon seasons for physicochemical parameters Viz., pH, Electrical conductivity (EC), Total Dissolved solids (TDS), Total hardness (TH), Total Alkalinity (TA), Na, K, Calcium and Magnesium, Chloride, Sulphate, Nitrate, Fluoride, Phosphate and Metal ions Viz., Li, Be, Al, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, As, Rb, Sr, Ag, Cd, Cs, Ba, Tl, Pb and U to evaluate the quality of drinking waters. The study results indicated that the waters are with slightly alkaline nature. TH and TA values of post monsoon samples exceeded the permissible limit while other parametric levels of TDS, Na +, K+, Cl-, F-, NO3-, SO42- , PO43- values are within the permissible limits.

    10/31/2018 District Irrigation Profiles IRRIGATION PROFILE OF WEST GODAVARI DISTRICT *Click here for Ayacut Map Introduction West Godavari District is carved out of Old Godavari District and as the Western Delta of the River Godavari it was appropriately named as West Godavari with Head Quarters at Eluru and bounded on the North by Khammam District on the South by Krishna District and the Bay of Bengal on the East by the River Godavari and on the West by Krishna District. The West Godavari District was formed in the year 1925. It lies between 16° 15' and 17° 30' of the Northern latitude and 80° 55' of the Eastern longitude. It was divided into three natural regions (i.e,) Delta, Upland and Agency areas. It has an area of 7742 SqKm. It has four Revenue Divisions namely Eluru, Kovvuru, Jangareddigudem and Narasapuram having 16,12,6 and 12 No of Revenue Mandals respectively. The district lies in the River basins of Godavari, Yerra calva, Thammileru Gunderu, Ramileru and Kolleru.
