Introduction

The history of Keshmen Consult Sdn. Bhd. (formerly known as Kesh Consult Sdn. Bhd.) started in 1994. It was incorporated in 1997 as Kesh Consult Sdn Bhd to provide Civil and Structural engineering consultancy services.

Keshmen Consult Sdn. Bhd. was then incorporated in 2004, with the introduction of two new partners, to continue to provide excellent Civil and Structural engineering consultancy services to our expanding list of clients.

Experience Mr. Beng Low has 25 years of project management and structural engineering experience, specializing in institutional, commercial and high rise structures. He has extensive experience in performance based design using non-linear pushover analysis. He is the principal in charge of various complex projects, including several multi-storey buildings and special structures

Mr. Low is the founder of the engineering firm Keshmen Consult Sdn Bhd. He is a licensed professional structural engineer in the State of California and is also a registered professional engineer in Malaysia

After graduating with a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering at Ohio State University, Mr. Low joined Sargent and Lundy, Chicago and was responsible for the design of Nuclear and Fossil Power Generating Plants for 2 years. After which, he joined Impell Corporation as a Senior Structural Engineer and was responsible for the design of Oil Refinery Structures, Seismic Upgrading of Existing Structures in California, Commercial and Industrial Steel Buildings and Power Generating Facilities for another 2 years. He joined Datum Engineering in 1990 to 1993 and was responsible for the design of high rise and office buildngs, such as EDS Headquarter at Texas.

He established Kesh Consult Sdn. Bhd. in 1994 and was responsible for managing and supervising all the projects of Kesh Consult Sdn. Bhd. Previous projects include the 30-storey Upper East Ampang condominium at Kampung Pandan Tengah, Ampang, Kuala Lumpur,

In 2004, Mr. Low reestablished his contacts in the United States and has since provided structural consultancy services for prestigious multistory projects such as performing seismic evaluation on the 9-storey 810,000 square-foot building based on ASCE41 for Bank of America Building located at 1 South Van Ness Ave, San Francisco, California, USA and performing conceptual design study for a full seismic upgrade of an eight-story 60,000-square-foot historic retail and office building at 1095 Market Street, San Francisco, California, USA.

Experience 1988-1994 Following his graduation, Mr. Wong joined KT Lau Consultants as a Civil and Structural Engineer and was responsible for the design of 12- storey apartment at Jalan Klang Lama, Ethylene and Polyethylene Plant at Kertih and 5-storey Shopping Mall, Tampin, Negeri Sembilan.

1995-2004 He then joined Kesh Consult Sdn. Bhd. and was responsible for the design of large tract housing development at Bandar Tasik Puteri for AP Land Bhd, Makro wholesale stores, Emkay 5-storey affordable apartments, Persiaran Ritchie high end apartments, Ijok housing development, 2724 units shear wall design of 5-storey apartment for MK Land Bhd, 3-storey Creative Child Centre at Subang Indah for MPSJ and various bungalows.

2004-date At Keshmen Consult, he is currently responsible for all projects of Keshmen Consult Sdn. Bhd.
