This 90 minute tour will explore artifacts that shed light on the Jewish world from the Bar Kokhba Revolt, to the first synagogues, to the writing of the Mishna. REFA’ENU's peer-led mood disorder support groups will meet Tuesday, 5/7/2019, in Paramus. Groups meet regularly on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of every month. Groups meet at 7:30pm in the Ben Porat Yosef Building at E. 243 Frisch Ct. in Paramus, NJ. Doors open at 7:10pm. Please make an effort to be on time (by 7:30pm) so as not to disrupt the flow of the groups. L’DOR V’DOR SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM: The Hebrew Home at Riverdale is now accepting applications for their L’Dor V’Dor Summer Internship, an innovative, fun and meaningful four-week program for Jewish teenagers. Interns volunteer at the Hebrew Home, connect with residents, and attend educational seminars & workshops. Dates: July 1st– July 26nd, 2019, Monday through Friday from 9:00am-5:00pm. Participants are selected on the basis of their application, interview, and references, Those who complete all program requirements will receive a $500 stipend. The Spring 2019 workshop will be in partnership with the Center for Pastoral Education. Thursdays, May 9, 16, 23 & 30, 2019, 7-9 pm. This beit midrash is designed to help mental health profes- sionals and clergy explore Jewish perspectives on issues they likely encounter in their day-to-day work.
