T 1-1 State Fullerton) and a home Pac-10 Conference game against No. 19/25 San Diego State (7-1-3, 1-1-2 in the Pac-10) on Sunday, Oct. 16 at 1 pm. Bruin junior Eric Reed ranks second in 9/18 vs. Ohio State† L 1-2 the nation with a 0.341 goals against average, just ahead of Aztec junior Tally Hall, who ranks third with a 0.346 GAA (Frank Peabody of Butler leads the nation with a 0.25 GAA). Hall has eight shutouts in 9/25 UNLV W 3-0 11 games and has made 36 saves while allowing four goals. Reed has six solo shutouts in nine games 9/30 #3 CALIFORNIA W 2-0 and has made 28 saves while allowing just three goals. Reed leads the nation in shots on goals save 10/2 STANFORD W 2-0 percentage (0.903), while Hall ranks second (0.900). 10/7 at Washington W 1-0 BRUINS IN NATIONAL RANKINGS ̶ UCLA dropped six to No. 12 in the Soccer America rankings and 10/9 at Oregon State L 0-1 are down fi ve to No. 17 in the NSCAA/adidas poll after a split against Washington (1-0 win) and Oregon 10/14 at #23 CS Northridge 3 pm State (1-0 loss). HERMANN TROPHY WATCH ̶ Junior midfi elder/defender Patrick Ianni and sophomore defender Marvell Wynne have been named to the 2005 M.A.C. Hermann Trophy Watch List. The 11/13 at San Diego State 1 pm Bruin duo were starters on the U.S. Under-20 National Team that advanced to the Round of 16 at the 2005 World Youth Championships. Their defense helped the U.S. shut out all three of its opponents * - at Cal State Fullerton; † - at Penn State Nike in group play. Wynne also had an assist on the game-winning goal against Argentina. Both players Classic. Home games are in BOLD CAPS. All were regular starters for UCLA in 2004 and played in all 20 games. Ianni, the 2004 Pac-10 Co-Player times are local to game site. Rankings are Soccer America/NSCAA. of the Year, has two goals and an assist this season, while Wynne has a goal and three assists. Ianni assisted Wynne on Wynne's game-winning goal against third-ranked Cal on Sept. 30. The goal was Wynne's fi rst of his career. Kraig Chiles, who was high school teammates with UCLA defender Marvell Wynne at Poway HS, leads the team in scoring with seven goals and 14 points. Head coach Lev Kirshner coached UCLA 2.
