Contents Transportation in Cancún Cancun has the most modern and functional airport in Latin America and the &DULEEHDQRIIHULQJFRQQHFWLRQVDQGÁLJKWVWRGLIIHUHQWSODFHVDURXQGWKHZRUOG Cancún International Airport is located approximately 25 minutes from the Hotel Zone and 20 minutes from downtown Cancun, it is considered the second most im-portant airport in Mexico, since it receives the largest number of international passengers in the country. The ferry leaves for the island every half an hour and the crossing takes about 20 minutes. • Cozumel: The ferry to Cozumel departs from Playa Del Carmen Ferry Pier, every hour and the the ride across takes about 45 minutes and you arrive right in the middle of San Miguel. © 2020.
