The C ride took a 16 mile route and the rest, a 33 mile route passing through Wychbold and Barnt Green before arriving at our destination and rendezvous with the club at Blackwell Court to watch the Cyclocross Event. Having consumed plenty Events of cake we returned to Redditch. Thank you to all club members who made Rob &Matt welcome on their first ride out with us. Thanks also to Sonia for making all the cakes. Sunday 11th November - Remembrance Sunday We met as the rain clouds were just clearing, Peter took the lead with the C ride out to Alvechurch through Brockhill over Cobley Hill, then turned to Alvechurch where they had coffee and enjoyed the Armistice commemoration before returning to Redditch over Scarfield Hill and Tardibigge. The rest of us also went out over Cobley Hill then on to Rowney Green & Hopwood before heading through Barnt Green turning up Cherry Tree Hill & Twatling Road which led to the top of the Lickey Hills and a well earned coffee stop perfectly timed for 11am and the 2 minute silence to be observed. The return ride took us through Burcot and Finstall. Following on from the Raffle at the Annual Dinner and Presentation Evening, we have proudly donated the money raised to this charity. .

It states that local planning authorities should identify and update annually a supply of specific deliverable sites sufficient to provide 5 years worth of housing against their housing requirements with an additional buffer of 5% to ensure choice and competition in the market for land. Where an authority has a record of persistent under delivery the buffer should be increased to 20%. Local planning authorities must also identify a supply of specific, developable sites or broad locations for growth for 6-10 years and, where possible, for years 11-15. Paragraph 159 of the NPPF highlights that to achieve this local planning authorities will need to prepare a SHLAA to establish realistic assumptions about the availability, suitability and likely economic viability of land to meet the identified need for housing over the plan period.
