2019 BOWIE BAYSOX GAME NOTES Thursday, April 11, 2019 - 6:35 p.m. Prince George's Stadium -- Bowie, MD Harrisburg Senators (6-1) vs. Bowie Baysox (2-4) RHP Erick Fedde (0-0, 9.00 ERA) vs. RHP Marcos Molina (0-1, 7.20 ERA) Game #7 // Home Game #1 2019 SEASON In Case You Missed It: The Baysox lost the second and final game of the series in Richmond on Wednesday Overall Record 2-4 afternoon 3-2. It was a back-and-forth affair in which the Baysox never led, but battled back to tie the game Home Record 0-0 multiple times. Bruce Zimmermann pitched well in his first start of the year, going five innings and allowing just Road Record 2-4 one run. Yusniel Diaz provided most of the offense for Bowie, doubling twice and picking up the only RBI of the Versus Eastern Division 0-0 game for his club. Versus Western Division 2-4 Current Streak L1 Molina Time: RHP Marcos Molina makes his second start of the year for the Baysox today. Molina started on Last Homestand N/A Opening Day at Harrisburg and took the loss, allowing four runs in five innings. The 24-year-old spent the first six Last Road Trip 2-4 years of his career in the New York Mets organization, and was ranked in the Mets' top 15 prospects by MLB.com each of the last three years. Molina made 14 starts in AA Binghamton and two starts in AAA Las Vegas last year. Last 5 Games 2-3 Overall, he was 1-10 with a 6.94 ERA in 81.2 innings. Molina was released by the Mets in July of last season, and was Last 10 Games 2-4 later suspended for the rest of the season after testing positive for PEDs. On Opening Day, Harrisburg hit two home runs en route to an 8-4 victory. Pitchers Hunter Harvey Hit a Home Run 1-3 (#12), Dillon Tate (#18), Zach Pop (#20) and Infielder Rylan Bannon (#23) round out the top prospects that start No Home Runs 1-1 the 2019 campaign with the Baysox. No Errors Committed 1-2 The Buck Starts Here: 2019 marks Buck Britton's first season as manager of the Bowie Baysox. Britton replaces Baysox vs. Harrisburg Gary Kendall, who was the head man in Bowie from 2011-2018. Britton picked up his first victory as a AA manager 2019 Record: 1-3 on April 7 against the Harrisburg Senators. Last season, Britton managed the Delmarva Shorebirds, leading the club to a 68-66 record. Prior to getting into coaching, Britton played nine seasons in Minor League Baseball, and 4/4 @ HBG L, 8-4 spent parts of 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 with the Baysox. Buck is the brother of former Baysox and Orioles' 4/6 @ HBG L, 6-5 left-hander Zack Britton. 4/6 @ HBG L, 4-2 4/7 @ HBG W, 6-2 This Day in Baysox History: On April 11, 2015, the Baysox won a wild 7-6, 14-inning game agaisnt the Richmond Flying Squirrels. Five different Baysox had multiple hits on the day, led by Rossmel Perez, who had four. There were no runs scored in extra innings until the top of the 14th, when Mike McDade drove in Quincy Latimore with a single.
