Wheareas, the area known as High Court of State, in the limits of Police Station, together with its surrounding roads and areas including the following roads, are busy places due to functioning of the High Court of Telangana State causing movements of litigants and Advocates to and from the premises of High Court of Telangana State.

1) On the Northern side of the High Court Building : City College Junction to Nayapul Road. 2) On the Southern side of the High Court Building : Madina Circle to City College Road and its (3) by lanes leading to Ghansi Bazar and other (3) by lanes leading to Patel Market/Ricobgunj. 3) Nayapul – Madina Circle – High Court Road 4) Pathargatti – Madina Circle – High Court Road 5) Muslim Jung Bridge Circle to High Court Road 6) Puranapul – PTO – City College X- Road – High Court Road 7) Moosa Bowli – Mehandi – City College X- Road – High Court Road.

2. And whereas, reports have been received indicating that such conditions now exist that unrestricted holding of public meetings, processions/ demonstrations, etc. in the area is likely to cause obstruction, annoyance or injury to any person lawfully employed, or danger to human life, health or safety or disturbance of the public tranquility or a riot or an affray and inconvenience in the smooth functioning of the Hon’ble High Court of Telangana State and disturbance to the litigants and Advocates.

3. And whereas, it is considered necessary to take speedy measures in this behalf to prevent danger to human life, health or safety or for preventing a riot or any affray and disturbance of public tranquility.

4. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred upon me under Section 144 of Criminal Procedure Code, 1973 and under Sec. 22 of Hyderabad City Police Act, 1348 Fasli, I, Anjani Kumar,IPS, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, do hereby make this written order and notify the same to the general public prohibiting the following matters :-

i) the holding of any public meeting; ii) assembly of five or more persons; iii) carrying of fire-arms, banners, placards, lathis, spears, swords, sticks, bricksbats, etc.; iv) shouting of slogans; v) making of speeches, etc.; vi) processions and demonstrations; and vii) Picketing or dharnas in any public place within the area specified in the schedule and sketch map appended to this order without a written permission.

5. As the order cannot be served practicably to each individual on all concerned, the order is hereby passed ex-parte and the same is published for the information of public through Press and by affixing copies of this order on the notice boards of the offices of all the D.Cs.P., Addl.DCsP., A.Cs.P., all Police Stations concerned and other places for conveying the information to the general public.

6. Religious functions/ rallies/ public meeting, etc. in the above specified areas can be held with prior written permission from the Dy.Commissioner of Police, South Zone, Hyderabad well in advance and this order shall not apply to processions which have the requisite permission of the concerned Zonal Dy.Commissioner of Police/Divisional Asst.Commissioner of Police.

7. This order shall come into force with effect from 0600 hours on 25.04.2019 and shall remain in force for a period of two months i.e. upto 0600 hours on 23.6.2019 (both days inclusive) unless withdrawn earlier.

8. Any person violating this order shall be liable for punishment under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code and as per the provisions of Hyderabad City Police Act, 1348 Fasli.

CRICKET BETTING BUSTED – APPREHENDED THREE PERSONS & SEIZED (1) T.V, (8) CELL PHONES AND NET CASH OF RS.1,50,130/-

On 23-04-2019 the sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, West Zone Team, Hyderabad, generated actionable information after making sustained efforts and apprehended (3) betting organizers by name 1) Rajesh Singh, 2) Neeraj Singh and 3) Laxmikanth Varma, while they were accepting cricket betting at Premises No.12-1-347, Dattatreya Colony, Asif Nagar, Hyderabad from the known and unknown punters directly and indirectly i.e., over cell phones. Seized 1) Net cash of Rs.1,50,130/-, 2) One T.V., 3) One Setup box, 4) Two Remotes, 5) One Book which was used to write cricket betting amounts, 6) Two Pens, 7) One Pad, 8) Two Calculators, 9) One Multiple Mobile Charger, 10) One Line Phone make LAVA and 11) 7 Cell Phones from their possession.

Details of the Accused:

1. Rajesh Singh R/o Asif Nagar, Hyderabad.

2. Neeraj Singh R/o,Lower Dhoolpet, Mangalhat, Hyderabad.

3. Laxmikanth Varma R/o, Inside Ashta Laxmi Temple Arch, Kothapet, Hyderabad.

Modus Operandi:-

The accused Rajesh is native of Hyderabad. He hatched a plan to organize Cricket betting and to collect the betting amounts directly and indirectly i.e. through cell phones from the punters in Hyderabad. From the past six months he is organizing Cricket betting. He is collecting and distributing the amounts of betting from nearly 25 to 30 punters in twin cities. The accused persons Neeraj Singh and Laxmikanth Varma are working to accused Rajesh Singh. The accused Laxmikanth Varma used to take the calls from the punters on phones and the accused Neeraj Singh used to write betting amounts in the registers. For which the accused Rajesh Singh is giving some amount as commission to the accused persons Neeraj Singh and Laxmikanth Varma.

Today i.e. on 23-04-2019, as per their plan, the accused persons are running Cricket betting in an organized manner in the premises of accused Rajesh Singh i.e. premises No.12-1-347, Dattatreya Colony, Asif Nagar, Hyderabad and accepting Cricket betting over cell phones by watching in T.V. on ongoing IPL-2019 Cricket match in between Super Kings Vs Sunrisers Hyderabad teams playing at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai on 23-04-2019 and seized the above said property from the possession of accused persons.

The apprehended accused persons along with seized property were handed over to the SHO, Asif Nagar PS, Hyderabad for further action.

The raid was conducted under the supervision of Sri P.Radha Kishan Rao, Dy.Commissioner of Police, Commissioner’s Task Force, by Sri B.Gattu Mallu, Inspector of Police, West Zone Team with the assistance of SIs Sri P.Mallikarjun, Sri L.Bhaskar Reddy, Sri B.Durga Rao, Sri Md.Mujaffar Ali and the staff of West Zone Team, Commissioner’s Task Force, Hyderabad.

SPECIAL DRIVE AGAISNT MINOR DRIVING

It is observed that most of the Minors are driving a vehicle by violating MV Act Rules and some of the parents are unknowingly giving the vehicles and some of the parents are unaware. In this regard to curb this violation, a special drive against Minor has been conducted on 22.04.2019 & 23.04.2019 and 69 minors were caught in West/central Zone, 60 minors were caught in East Zone and 43 minors were caught in the south zone, total 172 cases have been booked in Traffic South District

All the repercation of minor driving and if any accident took place was explained in detail and also explained about other violations. All taken oath for not repeating the minor driving. The parents are requested to take an interest in the safety of their children in order to improve the Traffic discipline in Hyderabad City.

The drive will continue for two months and will not allow the minors to drive the vehicle, without Driving License and will be checked all relevant documents for the safety of Minor.

All the peoples are accepted to cooperate with the Traffic Police and do not allow their children’s to drive the vehicle.

The Traffic Police solicited the cooperation of the public for the smooth and safe journey of Children’s in the city.
