A ground penetrating radar survey identified a number of sub-surface anomalies although interpretation was made difficult due to background noise such as drains, surface areas and paving. The results identified possible cellar remains and an apparant vault near to the north tower of the church. Other anomalies could have been stone coffins and general burial activity [Au(adp)]

A sub-circular trend may indicate the location of a ring ditch at the western end of the racecourse. An area of magnetic disturbance may be associate with archaeological activity near the second furlong marker and several anomalies appeared to form enclosures. Numerous anomalies were identified as having archaeological potential, however, many of them were broad and ill defined. [Au(abr)]
