Description The former Highways Depot at Pontrilas comprises a traditionally constructed detached building alongside a open sided former salt barn, all of which is located on an irregular, roughly level site that extends to around 0.24acres.

The main building is around 15/20 years old and appears to be traditionally constructed of a steel portal frame clad in full height brick/blockwork with pitched fibreboard roof over. The main elevation has two electrically operated sectional roller shutter doors to the front elevation, both of which incorporate window panels and one of the doors also has a pedestrian access door incorporated within it. Internally the building affords functional workshop space with block partitioned office/mess room and adjoining cloakroom/wc and there is a sectional concrete floor together with opaque roof lights internally. Electric radiant heaters are also present within the unit together with a fire alarm panel.

Alongside the main building is a former salt barn which effectively comprises a blockwork bund which itself is enclosed by a steel portal frame and corrugated clad structure on three sides.

Outside, to the front of the property is a large area surfaced primarily in tarmacadam and there is sufficient parking for 10-12 vehicles. There is also some room around the sides and rear of the building for further storage space. The whole site is enclosed in galvanised palisade fencing and has substantial double gates which provide good access and security. A small section will require new fencing to define the boundary.
